Mark Johnson is Professor of Anthropology and Dean of the Graduate School at Goldsmiths, University of London. He is co-director of the UKRI GCRF funded GlobalGRACE project that brings together researchers and project partners from Bangladesh, Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, South Africa and the United Kingdom to investigate the variety of ways that people’s creative practices challenge systems of privilege and engender new possibilities for more equitable ways of living together. His recent publications include Theorising Cultures of Equality (Routledge, 2020, co-edited with Suzanne Clisby and James Turner).
